We designed a complex including a senior’s community centre with a connected senior’s high-rise condominium building. We worked closely with residents groups, seniors groups, and city officials to design a multi-use facility, including gymnasium/auditorium, dining and kitchen facilities, multipurpose activity and management areas and a library overlooking the Speed River. The community centre was built on a common underground parking facility. The condominium building was done years later by another developer and another architect, to much less quality than our proposal.
