Having grown up in this home, our clients wanted major expansions to blend seamlessly with the old home, while providing for all modern amenities. We essentially carved a dome over the stair out of the existing attic to add drama to the older front of the house, and added a new wing along the back to accommodate the extra space we needed to modernize the home, with wide eaves to protect the new south facing glass walls.
