This new home was built on an existing lot backing onto a slope which declined to parkland in the back. The houses on the street were quite modest, so we built a house that looked like a bungalow for the streetscape, but soared up and down to the rear, climaxed by a cascading wall of glass at the rear, taking advantage of the slope.
On entering the home, the perfectly smooth ceiling rises to allow the sun through a clearstory window to stream into the house filling it with warmth and light. The open plan allows exciting views within and to the outside. The result was an extremely happy and proud client.
