This study was a demonstration of how we approach new work. Rather than relying on what worked in the past, we had to research state of the art facilities built recently, and use this information to guide the design of our proposal.

Key organizational requirements guided the design, including nursing station, amenities including dining and recreation, public access, and indoor/outdoor communication.

Protection for neurologically impaired individuals were also integrated into the plan.
