A large 40 hectare site at Bayview and Highway 7 in Markham was developed as a mixed use sustainable community. Comprising a residential development around a new park on the east side, blending into a central mixed use residential, commercial, and recreational district surrounding a large additional park, bordered on the west by a commercial institutional area with a convention centre and hotel complex. The urban design comprised precedent setting engagement of Highway 7.

The east district design won an urban design award from Markham after the results of the build out could be appreciated. The award another vindication of our dedicated New Urbanism approach to urban design
